Hello. I think you meant to say that the “campsite confusion” took place at two harbors. I had the same problem when I was there (5/7/19). I couldn’t find my site (12) to save my life, when I first entered camp around 10:30 am. When I returned from parson’s landing and had dinner at the restaurant (8:30 pm), I found my site purely by accident. It was on the same row
with campsites in the 20’s. (haha) The difference was that I took the lower trail in for the private camp earlier in the day and when I returned, I took the upper trail in and site 12 was the first area I ran into.

*I found campsite 8 right away by taking that lower trail in*
    * I had issues with bison between little harbor and the airport. On my hike to Parsons landing, I met a guy that was mock charged around the same area.*

Yes! Good catch – I meant Two Harbors! Glad we weren’t the only ones. I knew we weren’t thaaaat bad at directions. Sounds like you had as adventurous of s trip as up – scary on the Bison faux charge, they don’t play.

WIN-WIN
